I also enjoy wood carving and whittling as a hobby, It is just an amazing way to relax and watch your hard work come to life.
I made a spoon once and I gave it to a very close friend.
Other time I made a bowl.
I also got a collection of miniature wooden swords and spears that I carved myself.
